Follow the Success Formula
I tell my clients, “When you do what successful people do, you get what successful people get.”
The formula for success is:
QR = NA x AA xRT
This means the Quality of your Results = your Natural Abilities x Acquired Abilities x Right Thinking
Through life, please focus on the quality of your results, and not the quantity of your effort. I tell people that the world does not reward effort, it rewards recognized results. For more about how to get your results recognized, even if you aren’t a ‘pushy’ person, look into my program, “The Power of Purpose.”
Let’s take a closer look at the elements leading to success.
Start with your Natural Abilities. No need to be all things to all people. When you are focused on what you naturally do well, success becomes easier.
The second part of the Success Formula addresses Acquired Abilities. The hallmark of success people is that they continually learn and grow.
According to “Emotional Intelligence,” by Daniel Goleman, 85% of your success in life is based on your ability to get along with people. So the more you continue to develop your interpersonal skills, the better off you’ll be.
The final factor in the Success Formula is Right Thinking.
Right Thinking emphasizes the importance of using your mental power to direct your focus and energy on that which you do want.
